One update in the 2025R1 Release is a redesign of the costing allocation task.

In this demo, we will review the Assign Costing Allocation task.

There are no changes to the first screen. Fill in the fields under Worker Costing.

Search for and select the Worker and Position.

The task has been redesigned to give more context to existing allocations as well as proposed costing allocations.

The proposed or changing costing allocations are shown on the  "Proposed Costing Allocations" tab.

The existing or contextual allocations are shown on the "Existing Costing Allocations" tab. This allows users not to have to navigate out to other screens to see existing allocations.

To make changes, that will be on the "Proposed Costing Allocations" tab.

The date ranges are now listed on the lefthand column to make it easier to navigate between date ranges.

The fields for the allocation details have not changed.

To change a key, you should still clear the additional worktags field and the key before adding a new key.

Search for and select the appropriate key, and the additional worktags will populate.

Make sure you have the percentage updated on each line as needed.

Add additional rows as needed on each costing allocation.

Remove rows as needed by clicking the minus icon.

Each costing allocation still needs to total to 100%.

Alternately, you can copy a costing allocation to a new date range by clicking the  'Copy Costing Allocation' checkbox.

When you have multiple date ranges, you will still have to ensure they do not overlap. Adjust the start and end dates as needed.

Date ranges will show on the tabs on the left. Navigate through them by clicking into the tabs.

You can have a costing allocation with no end date if there is not a known end date as long as it does not overlap any other date range.

Review the overall submission, and click "Submit"
