Start on the[ UMass Global Library homepage](https://umassglobal.libguides.com/library) and search **Discover Books and Articles** using short phrases and keywords related to your topic.

The search results page will show a variety of resources. Click the **Scholarly (Peer Reviewed) Journals** limiter button under the search bar at the top of the page so that you only see Scholarly results.

The other filter tools are also helpful for your search, including the **All time** filter. Use the dropdown to select the publication date range for the articles.

You may also find it useful to click on **All filters...**

And view the other filter options, including the **Subject** filter, which lets you limit your search by subtopic.

To read the full text of an article, click on the **Access options** dropdown and select a full text option.
