If your organization as recently updated its DBA, follow the steps below. \
If your organization name has changed legally, please start on Step 12.

Navigate to [https://www.cardpointe.com/account/#/dashboard](https://www.cardpointe.com/account/#/dashboard)

Click the "New DBA Name" field and type new DBA. 

Click the "Comments:" field and type what date the change should take affect and any other updates needed. 

Click the "Tax ID:\*" field and fill in. 

Click the "SSN Last 4:\*" field and insert the last four digits of the signers number. 

Click the "Signer Name:\*" field and type the signers name. 

Alert! Please ensure the authorized signer is the one to complete the ticket. If it is not, the ticket will not be completed and closed. If the signer needs to be updated, ask for assistance by filling out our[Merchant Services Support Form](https://share.hsforms.com/1T5oA3EXNTOG5byOFMO_gEA1ni54)

Click the "New Legal Name:" field and insert new name. 

Click the "New Tax ID:" field and fill out. 

You will need to attach a W9, SS4, or Tax Return with the new legal name. 

To verify your new information, please attach one of the following:

Click "Add Attachment" of one of the requested forms. 

Click the "SSN Last 4:\*" field and fill. 

Click the "Signer Name:\*" field and type the authorized signer's name. 

Please ensure the authorized signer is the one to complete the ticket. If it is not, the ticket will not be completed and closed. If the signer needs to be updated, ask for assistance by filling out our[Merchant Services Support Form](https://share.hsforms.com/1T5oA3EXNTOG5byOFMO_gEA1ni54)

Both processes are typically completed within seven to ten business days. CardConnect may reach out with questions or document requests to complete their process.
