How to Add a New Domain in Your CRM

In the Main Dashboard click "Settings"

In the left-hand menu, scroll down and click "Domains"

In the top right corner select "+ Connect a domain"

Click "Connect" in the Funnel/Website/Store/Blog/Webinar row.

Add your domain in the box provided and click "Continue"

Tip! You can add both root domains (i.e. www.yourdomain.com) and SUB-domains here (i.e. nutrition.yourdomain.com).

Alert! If your root domain ([www.yourdomain.com](https://www.yourdomain.com)) is already connected to another platform like WordPress or SquareSpace, **you will NOT be able connect** it to HighLevel. You will need to use a different domain.

Click "Continue" again.

HighLevel will begin setting up your domain.

If you purchased the domain via GoDaddy, we can add the required DNS records for you.

You will be asked to sign in to your GoDaddy account before it can begin connecting your domain.

Then click "Connect" when prompted to begin automatically adding your GoDaddy domain.

After the records have been added (\~60 seconds or less) you can click the "Close" button.

**If you did NOT purchase the domain using GoDaddy,** manually add the DNS records provided on the screen to the hosting service you purchased the domain from.

Alert! Only AFTER you have manually added the DNS records should you click "Authorize Domain".

After you have added these records, click "Authorize domain"\ \ In most cases, you will get an error message saying the domain was not connected. Wait 60 seconds and click "Retry". **This may up to 10 tries** before the records are successfully connected.

**If you're domain doesn't connect after many attempts**, delete the domain and try again.

Once the records have successfully connected, you will see a message like this.

Then click the drop down menu to choose the website or funnel you'd like to link this domain to.
