Navigate to https://ctda.i8.dgicloud.com/ and login using the icon in the top right corner of the page. Your login for the sandbox is first initial last name (ex. Jonathan Husky would be jhusky).

Enter a name for your file which will be easy to find later, keeping in mind the list is alphabetical and not currently sortable. A label example would be A_My_Historical_Society_2023-04-06 

Click "Choose File" in the "Target file" field.

Click the "Sheet" field and enter the sheet name from your spreadsheet that you wish to ingest. In our example the name to enter is Sheet 1.

Click the "Base mapping" dropdown and select "CSV to DGI Standard Islandora Repository Object nodes"

Now that the spreadsheet has been uploaded to the system, click "Process".

From the Processing list, click the "Immediate" option.

This will kick off the migration process which will take some time to complete. Once processing is complete, click "View" and then click the link to the Migration group.

From the Migrations page, you can view the messages for each step to verify if everything ingested without errors. Click the number in the Messages column. This will let you see any messages about the processing of your content and identify an errors.

Another way to look for the status of each item you just ingested is to click "Groups"

Check that a Content type, Collection(s), and the Status are all populated for an item as you expected based on what you entered in the spreadsheet. To investigate a record further, click the title of the record ingested that you wish to inspect further.

Click "Edit" and review the Metadata form to verify all metadata from the spreadsheet for this item was populated to the form.
