How to Add and Edit Spaces

This guide shows how to quickly add or modify building spaces within a property's layout so your records (and tenant billing) stay accurate. It highlights efficient navigation, warns against naming spaces after tenants, explains the purpose of the Unallocated SF field, and emphasizes saving changes to avoid data loss. How to Add a Space

From the navigation menu, select **Properties.**

Locate the **Property**.\ \ **NOTE:** You can locate the Property quickly by searching for it.

Select the **Edit** icon > Select the **Layout (GLA)** tab.

Right-click the **GLA** at the top of the list > Select the **type of space** you want to add.

Complete the information for the Space.\ \ **NOTE:** Do not name the Space after a Tenant. Tenants change, which will cause confusion.

The **Unallocated SF field** is for reference only - this could be risers, closets, or any SF that is part of the Space but should **not** be used to compute a SF cost for the tenant.

Select **Create.**

How to Edit a Space

Selecting a space will bring up the space's edit interface.

Make the preferred edits.

Select **Save.**
