To attach resources to a learning event in Elentra, first ensure that you are in the Teacher View, Director View, or Administrator View on the Learning Events page.

To get to the Teacher View, Director View, or Administrator View either open the Admin Menu in the Navigation Menu and select Manage Events or switch to Teacher View, Director View, or Administrator View using the Display Style section located in the Sidebar.

Once in the Teacher View, Director View, or Administrator View on the Learning Events page find and open the learning event you want to which you want to add resources. You will initially be taken to the Setup page of the learning event. To add resources to the learning event you will need to select the Content tab and scroll to the Event Resources section.

From the event's Content tab, at the bottom of the page, click "Add a Resource" to launch the resource configuration wizard.

Select the type of resource you want to add. Different resource types will behave differently and accept different formats of content. Your configuration wizard may have different configuration options, depending on your selection.

On the next step, you must define whether this resource is optional or required, when the resource is to be used, and approximately how many minutes the learner can expect to spend on the resource. Depending on your configuration of Elentra time spent on the resource may be a required or optional field.

On the next step of the configuration wizard, you will configure your visibility settings. By default, the resource is available to learners at any time, but you can optionally configure time release dates, keep it in draft mode, or hide the resource from students entirely so only faculty and staff users can see it even when published.

**Tip:** When time-releasing the resource, Elentra looks at whether a resource is to be accessed before, during, or after class and if you opt to time release resources, the system will require a time that matches the before, during, or after parameters.

Optional Step: If the event is part of a series, you can select additional events within the series to which this resource should be added. This step will only show if the event is part of a series.

On the next step you must configure the view options, provide a title and description for the resource. The title and description are used as part ofthe Curriculum Search feature in Elentra. Further down on this screen, you may see the option to attach the resource to a gradebook assessment and configure the scoring method depending on the type of resource you chose to attach.

Then the next step will see a copyright statement. Click Next Step to agree.

On the next step, you will add your resource if you are attaching an external file. Click "Browse" to add your resource file, then click "Save Resource".

You will see a success message. Click "Attach another Resource" to add another resource to the event, or "Close" to finish.

The attached resources will appear on the Content page of the event in the selected time frame tab. The attached resources can be managed from this page.  Small badges identify characteristics of the resource.

- View a preview of the resource by clicking on the **download arrow**.
- Edit an existing resource by clicking on the **resource title** to reopen it.
- Delete a resource by clicking on the **trashcan** icon.

Note: For learners the attached resources will appear on the event under the relevant heading.  See the "Learner View" to understand how they will see the resource.
