Navigate to [https://m365.cloud.microsoft/chat](https://m365.cloud.microsoft/chat?auth=2) and log in to your Microsoft 365 account if necessary.

Type in the name of your agent and give it a description of what it will do.

In the Instruction field, give detailed instructions on how the agent should work. For example, the tone it should use and how it should complete tasks.

If you want the agent to be grounded in your work data, then select "Browse" to tell it where it should look. For example, a folder with HR files that detail vacation, sick time and other benefits. You can also select "Web search" if you want the agent to have access to the internet.

Select the folder you want the agent to have access to.

You can enter some sample prompts that will automatically type the prompt.

To change who can use the agent, select "Change sharing settings."

Select who can use your agent and click "Save."

Select "Go to agent" to begin using the agent.

Your agent also will appear on the sidebar on the right-hand side of the screen.
