The "Featured image" field is important, because that is the image that is shown at the top of every page. The Featured image can either be set here, or later in the Elementor editor.

Select the image you want as the Featured image.

Click the Publish/Update button to save your changes so far.

Once you have those settings made, click the "Edit with Elementor" button. This will cause the Elementor editor to load.

The easiest way to add information to new pages with the least amount of styling you have to do, would be to go out and grab sections of existing pages that have a similar layout to what you want on the new page.

Switch to a new tab and find the website dashboard.

Find a page with a section you would like replicated (with new content) on the new page.

Every page you create will need a hero section. Find the Hero in the Navigator pane. If you can't see the Navigator window, use the Cmd + I buttons to make it visible.

Click "UAE Copy"-- UAE Copy seems to do a better job of copying the structure and contents of the container, and seems to make it easier to work with on the new page. UAE Copy All copies the entire page, so depending on what structure you're trying to replicate, that could be beneficial.

Click on the + to create a new empty container.

Choose what kind of layout you want the section to have. Basically, we just need an empty section to start copying and pasting content.

Select the UAE Paste (or UAE Paste All if you used the UAE Copy All function).

Now you should have a Container followed by a Hero in the Navigator on the new page. If you have already designated a Featured image and saved/published the page, the featured image will show up as the Hero image.

The empty container is no longer needed at the top of the page, so right-click here.

Add a new empty container under the Hero section. Click here.

Go back to the page with the content structure you would like to copy. Find the container (the tabs in pink) and click the dots in the middle.

Navigate back to the new page. Right-click "Edit Container" (the 3 stacked dots)

If an empty section shows, click the X on the left to delete it.

Go through the new section and change the text for the new page.

Change the text block to content for the new page.

To close the existing page you are copying the structure from, click the hamburger menu.

If you need additional structure from another page, click "All Pages"

Find the page with the copyable structure.

Find the part of the page you need on your new page. Sometimes you don't need a whole container, but a section or sometimes a single button/text block/heading.

Frequently asked questions

If it's a button/text editor/heading, it should be as easy as selecting the individual item, and right-clicking to copy the element.

Sometimes the structure (two buttons side-by-side) make it a little tricky to copy. Click the container button.

Go over to the Navigator panel (on the old page). Right-click on the selected Container.

Go back to the tab with the new page in it. Click into the area where you want the new items/structure.

NEW PAGE TITLE/INTRO HEADER​

Click the appropriate area for the new structure.

Sometimes the paste doesn't paste exactly where you would like it to. The "Container" under "Heading" where the buttons were supposed to go is still empty. But there's a "Container" at the bottom of this list that has two buttons in it (copied from the old page). There are a couple of things you could try: dragging and dropping the Container with the Buttons to the right spot under the Heading (which may or may not work) or dragging and dropping the individual Buttons into the Container under the Heading. Sometimes trial and error is the only way to know which method will work the easiest, without messing up the structure you want.

Click and drag "Button" to the empty Container under Heading.

Click and drag the second "Button" to the no-longer empty Container under Heading.

Sometimes it's easy to become confused when using the Navigator to understand what each element is. You can go into the Navigator and rename things, to help eliminate the confusion. Double click on the Element, and you can rename it.

Find another section in a published page you need on your new page. Select it. Right-click.

Pick a structure for your empty Container.

Click "Container"--this is the empty container.

Right-click here and Delete the empty container.

New elements can be added to the page, if needed from the Elementor panel. Be warned: the styling on some of the new elements could conflict with the website's style. It would be the best option to find part of an existing page, if at all possible, to copy and paste instead of starting with a new element.

Click this icon to get a list of available elements.

Make your edits to the Element or click here to add a new Element.

After all your edits are made to the new elements, click "Update" to save all your changes.

Find a page with a Gravity Form already on it. Open the page and click the Edit with Elementor button.

Find the Element that has the form in it. 

Go back to the tab with your new page open in it. Start creating a new Container.

It would be best practice to use a similar structure to where you found the form, so if the form is only on half of the page, don't make the container full-width, or you risk messing up the form styling. So choose an appropriate structure.

Click this dropdown and find the appropriate Gravity form from the dropdown. If the form hasn't been created in the Forms section yet, you will have to come back to this page to select the form once it has been saved.
