Navigate to [https://app.thenextinvoice.com/dashboard](https://app.thenextinvoice.com/dashboard)

From the home page, click on NEW, in the top banner.

First, we need to select a customer for which we are going to create an invoice. This is done by clicking on the field “Select a customer” and then typing the name of the particular customer.

You can make sure that it is a correct customer by hovering your mouse pointer over the details of the same, and it will show their detailed info.

If you have noticed that some details of the selected customers are not matching, you may edit them, by clicking on the pen icon, next to their name.

All details related to the customer can be updated from this window.

Under “Invoice details” on the right, we select the parameters under which the invoice is sent, such as our company profile...

language etc.
Note that by selecting language here, you will choose in which language will the invoice be displayed to the customer.

In order to add items to your invoice, click on the + icon, on the main part of the screen

Then fill out the necessary fields, for that item.

A discount specific for that item can be applied by clicking on the % icon on the right side

and then typing the discount amount below the unit price.

If the discount is applied to the entire invoice, then it should be entered in the "Invoice details" collumn.

Once your invoice is all set up, click on Finish.

A small pop-up will appear, prompting you to choose whether to download this invoice in PDF or to email it directly to the customer.

When you click on Email, you will be directed to another pop-up window.

In this window, you can modify the content of the email body however, previously created invoice will be automatically sent as attachment with this email.
