How to Create " Holiday "

    Navigate to "Roster"
    Click on "Holiday" from the dropdown menu
    Click on " Create "
    Enter the name of the " Holiday" e.g Christmas
    Click on the " Calendar " icon to select holiday start date
    Click on the " Calendar " icon to select holiday end date
    If the holiday is " Attendance Exempted " check on this box
    In order to limit the application of holiday based on religion,location,organizational structure or an individual employee a holiday rule is utilized

    Holiday Rule

    Click on " Create " button
    Enter the name of the " Holiday Rule "
    Select the type of Rule

    Religion

    The "Religion Rule" that designates a holiday for a particular group of employees based on the religion listed in their employee profiles. For instance, Christian employees observe Easter as a holiday
    Select "Religion"
    Click on "Save"

    Geo Location

    The geolocation rule is used to apply leaves based on a specific location e.g country,branch,state
    Select "Geo Location"
    Enter the " Holiday " name
    You can select any of the fields
    Click on "Save"

    Organizational Structure

    The holiday can also be applied based on hierarchical structure of an organization.
    Click on "Create"
    Select "Type"
    Select "Organization Structure"
    Enter the " Holiday " name
    You can select the fields accordingly
    Click on "Save"

    Employee

    The holiday rule can also be applied to a individual employees or group of employees
    Click on "Create"
    Select "Employee" from Type
    Enter the " Holiday " name
    Type "Rest Days"
    Select " Employees " from the dropdown menu
    Click here.
    Click on "Save"
