We recommend our users to update their rates in the **Channel Manager** when you want to adjust the rate for a **certain period**. For example, consider seasonal pricing.
However, if you want to change the base rate **permanently**, please do so in **My Property.** Changes made in My Property will not reflect in the Channel Manager.
Important to note here is the following:
Direct bookings through the Booking Engine can be made up to max 2 years ahead. Bookings through channels can only be made 1 year in advance.
This Help Centre Article has three sections that provide steps on how to update:
- your rates per category
- one rate at a time
- in a bulk action
Navigate to the Channel Manager in your RoomRaccoon account.
