If you currently do not have SMS facility on your 3CX and want this feature added to your 3CX account then please email support@tronic.com.au

Go to your 3CX URL in 3CX approved browser such as Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge.

For example <https://tronic.3cx.com.au> for Tronic 3CX startUP clients

Sign in with your Email address and password you set then click LOGIN.

Note: If you have forgotten your password, then you can click "Forgot password?". This will email you a new link to reset your password.

Enter mobile number you want to send an SMS to. 

If you want to do group SMS sending to multiple mobile numbers at the same time, then you need Tronic support at support@tronic.com.au to create an account at <https://tronic.com.au/sms-portal/>

NOTE: Mobile number needs to be in the +E164 format. So a mobile number of 0412 345 678 becomes +61412 345 678.

You then will need to select what ID you want to send the SMS using.

If you have outbound SMS only, which is the Tronic 3CX default method. You'll only have an 11 Character Alphanumeric Sender ID. This will not give the receiver the option to reply to the SMS.

If you want to send and receive SMS, then you'll need a mobile number 04XX XXX XXX added to your account. Please speak to [support@tronic.com.au](mailto:support@tronic.com.au) if you want a mobile number added to your plan.

The below example is Sender ID of "Freight". So this will be the number that the mobiles receiving the SMS will come from.

NOTE:

Outbound SMS from 3CX apps or SMS portal are charged a 10c per message sent.

An SMS message  is based on a standard SMS message segment, which is 160 character part thereof.
