Self-scheduled interviews eliminate back-and-forth email exchanges and allow you to select interview times that work for your hiring team. This works with any type of interview, and can be setup to generate a Zoom meeting.

You can create self-scheduled interviews for multiple candidates at once, or from an individual candidate's application.

From the job: people view select the candidates you would like to invite to self-schedule.\

Click "Actions &gt; Invite candidates to self schedule"

Click "Invite 2 candidates to self schedule"

Specify the interview duration, \
whether candidates can schedule less than 24 hours in advance, \
the recruitment step where candidates will be moved once they schedule, \
and the interview format.

If you choose a Zoom interview you will be prompted to choose a meeting host.

Select the calendars for anyone on your hiring committee that will attend the interview.

Click and drag on the calendar to setup interview slots. Interview slots that are added without a "booking placeholder" will offer interview slots only at times that don't interfere with other events on the selected calendars.

When you add a timeslot with a booking placeholder the scheduler ignores any other events in the calendar and will allow the candidate to schedule at any time in that slot. \
Members on the hiring team will also see a hold placed on their calendars.

The scheduler will prevent candidates from scheduling over each other during the booking placeholder slots.

Below the calendar you may see a summary of slots available. You can delete slots from here as well.

Click "Select template"\
Choose a template.

Modify the message. The candidate's name, the job title, and your signature information will automatically be filled in.

Choose to Send the Link to Self Schedule

You can also self schedule from a candidate's application.\
Click "Interviews"\
Click the Additional Schedule Options\
Select "Invite to self-schedule".

Candidates will receive the personalized invitation to email with a link to schedule their interview.

On the scheduling page they can see slots that are available to them.

Notice that if the booking placeholder wasn't added the self scheduler avoids scheduling over other calendar events.

The candidate can select a time and choose to schedule a meeting.

The candidate will receive a confirmation email with the calendar invite.
