Click whether you want to use Scribe for "Work" or "Personal"

Click what you want to achieve with Scribe

Tip! Click "Open Gmail" or the other mailing you are using, this will directly lead you to the exact email.

Click on the e-mail "Scribe - Verify Your Email Address"

Choose a team name and click "Get Started!"

Click on how you found out about Scribe and click "Next"

To be able to capture your first Scribe, you need to have the chrome extension of Scribe installed, which can be done via [this page](https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/scribe-ai-documentation-s/okfkdaglfjjjfefdcppliegebpoegaii)

Navigate to [your dashboard](https://scribehow.com/workspace#private)

Tip! With the pro version you can capture your whole desktop, even beyond your Chrome browser!

You may change step to more accurately describe the step.  

You may also delete unnecessary steps not needed anymore

You can insert links users need to navigate to in words like in the picture below; double click the word and click on the link logo

You can add additional steps or even tips and alerts by clicking on the + sign

You can add either one of these options, we will add a 'tip' for demonstration purposes

You can modify this Tip block which will have a different layout in the final guide

Tip! Some steps are maybe a little bit too detailed and can be merged into one. These steps will then be merged into a video. Below is shown how to do this.

Click the checkboxes from the steps you want to combine.

Search for the Scribe you want to copy the steps to, it will automatically be copied to this Scribe!

Tip! You may want to add some steps to an already existing Scribe. This can be done by clicking the + sign and just start capturing again. Below is shown how actually these steps are added extra to this Scribe. 

Click "Start Capture" and you will continue with capturing your actions.

Add a(n AI generated) description to your Scribe

Click "Add Description" and click "AI Generated". Then " [[enter]]"

Click "Done Editing" when you think your Scribe is complete

You can either export it as pdf in the free version

Or add it as an embedding to your website (like this one in our website). You can click this option when you prefer vertical scrolling for your Scribe, the default is horizontal

Or just simply "Copy Link" to share the link to the Scribe with others
