How to Stop a Cadence

    Tip! Keep the following **automation** associated with cadences in mind: 1. When a **lead is converted to an opportunity**, active cadences stop 2. When a lead status is changed to **Unqualified**, active cadences stop 3. When cadence is **stopped**, "has cadence" checkbox is automatically unchecked 4. If new cadence is **added**, "stop cadence" checkbox on PREVIOUS cadence is automatically checked 5. When all **scheduled cadences equal complete**, "stop cadence" checkbox is automatically checked and "has cadence" checkbox is unchecked 6. If last active cadence is **deleted**, all scheduled tasks, emails and sms are set to COMPLETED and "has cadence" checkbox is unchecked 7. Multiple "send from" email addresses can be used with cadences

    Option 1

    Select a Lead, Opportunity or Contact record.
    Hover over **[[Cadences]]** in the Related List Quick Links section.
    Select the **[[arrow]]** to the right of the cadence you want to stop.
    Select **[[Edit]]**.
    Select the "Stop cadences" checkbox.
    Select "Save"

    Option 2

    From the waffle icon, type and select "Cadences"
    Change the list view to **[[All]]**.
    You [[may need to add additional columns]] by selecting the **[[gear icon]]** to the right of the **[[Search this list…]]** **[[box>Select Fields to Display>then add all fields you’d like to view]]**. In this example, we'll sort by **Lead** name.
    Select the **[[arrow]]** to the right of the record with the cadence you want to stop.
    Select **[[Edit]]**.
    Select the "Stop cadences" checkbox.
    Select "Save"
