Open an existing reservation from the calendar.

Click "%" to add a surcharge or a discount in a percentage.

Click "€" to add a discount or a surcharge in a specific amount.

Click this text field to enter the amount or percentage you wish to discount/surcharge by.

To apply a surcharge, enter a positive value. To apply a discount, insert a negative value. For example, -10.

Click the "Reason for the discount/surcharged..." field to fill in a description for a surcharge. This will appear on the invoice.

Click here to view the breakdown of the discount for the booking.

For group bookings, click the check boxes to apply the discount/surcharge to multiple rooms.

The discount/surcharge will be distributed across each day of the booking for revenue reporting accuracy.

Managing Discounts and Surcharges for Reservations with Full or Partial Daily Revenue Closure

When you utilize the optional feature to close your daily revenue, it will influence the approach used to apply discounts and surcharges to bookings that have undergone partial or complete daily revenue closure.

- Restrictions for Closed Revenue Days:

  In scenarios where one or more days of the booking have closed revenue, overriding the price is not possible. This restriction applies equally to other charges, such as city tax, maintaining consistency across the system.

Click on a reservation where one or more days of the booking have closed revenue.

Navigate to the add-ons section. Click the "Search add-on" field.

Add a custom add-on, labelling it as either 'discount' or with a description of the surcharge

Click the "0.00" field to insert a surcharge or discount amount.

The system now enables you to add either a negative value to apply a discount or a positive value to impose a surcharge.

Click this dropdown to select a revenue group.

Click this icon to apply the surcharge/discount add on to the room. 

Surcharges or discounts applied after the revenue for a booking has been partially or fully closed will be recorded on the day the amount is registered, rather than on the actual booking date.

In group bookings, you can select the other room categories to apply the same discount/surcharge to those rooms.

To view your surcharge/discount in the booking, you can click to expand the add-ons to view recent surcharges/discounts.
