Log in to PebblePad and click "Get Started"

In PebblePad, a Portfolio is unstructured and can be used in creative ways by both students and UM staff.

A Portfolio can be used for showcasing results, experiences, academic successes, etc. 

When a Portfolio is ready, it can be shared with others, the web or with ATLAS for assessment.

Your first page is created by default. Now you can add a Title and a Subtitle for this page.

You can replace the banner image by clicking "Replace Image".

You can use images from the available database or you add your own image.

You can give your first page a name by clicking on the wheel.

By clicking on this plus icon, you can add a new page.

You can either create a new page or you can add an existing asset or portfolio

Keep in mind that if you add an existing asset, the changes you make in this Portfolio, will also be changed in the original Asset. 

If you do not want this, you have to first create a copy of your Asset and add it.

You can also create nested pages. If you click on the + icon, you can turn this into a portfolio. 

This means that there will be multiple pages.

If you want to change the order of the pages, go to Properties

You can reorder the Page under Page Properties

You can move a page and decide where to insert it

There are a number of content blocks that you can add to your Portfolio by clicking on them.

You can add text, use headers, change the font and use colours.

You can upload an image from your asset store or upload a new image

You will see all your available assets in PebblePad. By clicking on "Upload new" you can add a new image to your Asset store.

The same goes for a Video or Audio.

You can add them from your Asset Store or upload a new one.

At Maastricht University it is preferred to upload videos on [My Mediasite](https://library.maastrichtuniversity.nl/apps-tools/mediasite/) first.

You can embed your video then in PebblePad. We will show this in the next slide.

You can also Embed content from an extensive list of sources.

Paste the embed link here and click "Embed". 

There is also a link with all supported services that can be embedded

Your Mediasite video is now embedded in PebblePad

Make sure to save your Portfolio often, because PebblePad does not auto-save

Click Properties to change lay-out and settings for your page.

You can decide where to place the text on the banner  

On top of the image, below the image or no text.

When you click on Properties &gt; Portfolio, you can change settings for the whole portfolio.

For example the layout: full width or fixed width.

You can also choose a featured banner for every banner.

Your Portfolio is now ready.

You can now share it with others or the web. Or share it with ATLAS for assessment.

A Portfolio is a multiple page presentation made up of two or more assets, typically Pages. Portfolios act a little like portfolio 'binders' allowing additional pages to be added, edited, or removed at any time by every PebblePad user.
