When you're ready to create a new Companion AI flow, remember to have a completed Experience Requirements Document ready! \

If you haven't already, download a copy of our Companion ERD & Prompt Combo Guide. Our guide will help you simultaneously plan your experience and craft a prompt that outlines all of the details regarding the roles you want your learner and the Virtual Human character to play, the conversation context, the scenario progression and any additional instructions you'd like to give the AI - so that the Virtual Human's performance aligns with your experience requirements.

Once you've completed the document, you will paste the text into the "Conversation Prompt" field - and this is the basis for creating your Companion AI flow! 

Other than the Prompt, you'll just need to adjust a few settings - and that's what we'll guide you through in this tutorial :)

Once you've logged in to your org and you see the project menu page, click "Create" to create a new Project.

Title your new Project and click "Create".

When you are creating a Project with multiple flows and you're considering the order of the flows, remember that a Companion flow is a LESSON Flow Type.

Flows must be placed and experienced in the order of Pre-Assessment, Lessons, Post Assessment. Therefore, you may move your Companion flow to be in the order within the Lesson flows that you prefer, but not before a Pre or after a Post Assessment.

Edit the Name of your Flow, (or you can edit this later). 

Choose "Immerse Companion" flow type.

Click "OK" to change to the environment of your choice.

Position the Learner and one Virtual Human character into the Spawn Points, (the numbered positions in the environment), that you prefer for your scenario. (\*Note that you may only have 1 virtual human in a Companion AI flow at this time).

Click the pencil icon to select a different Virtual Human character.

Choose a voice for the Virtual Human character.

Once you're satisfied with how you've set the scene, click "Scenario". (\*It is also possible to come back and revise your scene later).

You'll see that there are optional Scenario Templates available, (on the right side), if you'd like to start with one of those. \

If you're ready to create your own scenario, you'll need to add your own Conversation Prompt. Delete the current text in the box and add your own now!\

Ethics in the Workplace

An AI driven virtual human is your subject matter expert that guides you in a discussion on ethics in business.

Click "Proceed" to continue with the text, (either your own prompt or one of the provided examples), that you have in the Conversation Prompt text box.

Once you're satisfied with the scenario you'd like to test, click "Settings".

Click this checkbox if you'd like to add a Lesson Introduction Pop Up, (which is a text box shown at the start of the experience).

Edit the Header, Sub Header and Message fields with the information you'd like to include to inform the learner about the experience, their role and what to expect.

Choose the Session Timing parameters you prefer. You can always come back and edit any of these settings later, after testing in 3D Preview!

Select an option for where you'd like to send the learner after they've completed the Companion Flow.

Click this checkbox to show a "Results Screen" to the learner at the end of the experience and select the option that best suits your flow's requirements.

Click "3D Preview" to test the Companion AI Flow experience!

When the experience begins, you'll see the Lesson Introduction Pop Up that you designed in the Settings.

Speak your answer and click the arrow icon to stop the microphone timer once you've finished your response. (\*You may also click the redo arrow icon to start your response over, if needed).

You will be shown the text that was captured from your response by the Virtual Human.
