Before creating an appointment with CompanyOn, make sure you have added the client case file via the clients' module so their name is registered when you look up the client in the appointment window. And...

You have created the service(s) you will be offering to the client as part of the appointment, by going into the Services admin module found in the admin menu.

Once you have added these pieces,  you are ready to schedule your first appointment. Next, head to the Calendar and select the day and time for the appointment you would like to create.

Select the name of the client the appointment is being scheduled for.

Add the service or services you are booking the client for.

As you will see, the time for the appointment will automatically be populated for you based on the length of the service you are offering, but you can change it manually if needed.

You can also create a recurrence for appointments. This is a feature you can use when you need to schedule the same service(s) multiple times.

One perk our booking system offers you id the ability to notify clients when an appointment has been scheduled. 

Finally, if you need to add a particular note to the appointment you need as a reference, you can do so in the notes field. The content can only be seen by the practitioner.

That's it! now you have booked an appointment for your practice. Next, you can click on the appointment to view the details.

When the appointment is ready to be checked in, all you need to do is click on 
 the check-in tab. With this action, the system will automatically generate an invoice for the service provided as part of the appointment.

Use this feature to generate invoice in case you need it prior to checking client in. Note that if the appointment is cancelled, the invoice created will remain active.

Alternatively, you can generate the invoice in advance prior to checking in the appointment by clicking on the generate invoice tab.

You can process the payment of the appointment directly from the appointment window. Preview the invoice generated for you and even send a copy of the invoice via email to the client by clicking on the red envelop icon.

Once you have checked in an appointment, you can access your client case file to document care, directly from the calendar window by clicking on the client's name.
