Click the **"Unique Selling Point (Booking Engine)"** field.

This input will appear in the booking engine with a Star icon to highlight a special feature of this rate. This is a special selling point about this particular rate that sets it apart from others.

Click the **"Occupancy"** field. Adjust this toggle to account for the number of guests included in this rate type.

Click the **"Rate per night"** to set the specific amount to be paid by the guest per night.

Click the **"Overwrite VAT"** field if you would like to override the VAT settings you have created in your Settings Account.

If you would like to override the VAT set up in your settings, type in a % of VAT to apply for this rate plan.

Click the **"City tax per night"** field to insert an amount.

If you have set a fixed city tax **%** in account settings, you will not see this step in the rate plan set-up.

However, If you have set up city tax as a fixed currency amount in the account settings, then you will need to add the city tax when creating the rate plan.

Click this dropdown to select a prepayment deposit amount required by the guest on booking.

Click the "Maximum stay" field to set the maximum number of days a guest can can reserve a booking for.

How to set up Breakfast-Included Rate Plans

Before you create new rate plans that include add-ons, like breakfast, we recommend that you set up your pre-saved add-ons first.

 For the add-on to reflect in the Food & Beverage List (F&B List), the toggle for 'Breakfast', 'Lunch' or 'Dinner' will need to be activated in the add-on set-up section.

Click the "Name" field.

If you select a **"Derived Rate"**, click the **"Add"** field to add an additional amount or percentage to the rate per night to cater for the breakfast cost.

Select **"Add-ons included in price"** if you wish to consolidate add-ons in the final amount on the invoice.

If you have selected for "add-ons to be included in the price", you can select options to display the add-ons in the invoice (see next three steps).

By selecting the **"Show add-ons as an arrangement on invoices"** option to show the add-ons grouped by VAT amount and shown as an arrangement for this rate plan.

By selecting the **"Consolidate package deals"** option to display only the total price on the invoice, which includes the combined cost of the room rate and any add-ons, without itemizing the add-ons separately for this rate plan.

By selecting the **"Show all add-ons on invoices"** option to show each itemise add-ons within the invoice on its own line for this rate plan.

Select **"add-ons excluded from the price"** to itemise add-ons separately from the room rate. This will ensure that any add-ons included in this rate are listed on a distinct line in the invoice.

Select the add-on titled **"Breakfast"** from the add-ons list.

Adjust the **"Minimum stay"** field to select the minimum number of days a guest can reserve a booking for.
