Go to a campaign that has already been created and open the campaign settings.

Now enter a [[KPI value]] for a [[KPI Type]] and define a [[runtime]].

So that you can record the targets for the total runtime, this should always be the same as the campaign runtime.

Mercury will now create a flowchart for you, on which you will already find the objective you have just defined.

To optionally add further objectives, click anywhere in the objectives column on a free area of the campaign row.

A new area will then open on the right-hand side where you can adjust the running times, revise the objectives entries and...

... and then click on “SAVE CHANGES”.

Now you will find each objective recorded in a separate row under the campaign name.

**Please note!** Percentage and currency values are currently not shown on the left in the “ Objective column” and can only be found within the flowchart on the far right-hand side, see the following example of the click-through rate.

If you move your mouse over one of the objective bars, Mercury opens an overview on mouseover, which provides you with further information.

**Tip!** Return to the objectives overview at any time if you want to adjust your objectives or set new ones.

If you now open the planning of your campaign,...

... you will now find corresponding monitors for the objectives you have just created.

The values of the campaign can also be above the objective value

Outer frame stands for the objective value to be achieved

Note! The monitors are currently available for the following metrics:

- Budget (costs (N/N/N) + fee + technical costs)
- Impressions
- clicks
- all conversion metrics (actions, downloads, engagements, installs, leads, orders & registrations)

As soon as you start your planning and the first realized data accumulates, the monitors begin to fill up with data accordingly.
