In this tutorial, we'll show you how to create your private/personal credentials that you can use for establishing a connection with Google Workspace applications. Follow this guide if you want to setup your **Google Docs**.

💡 For the best experience, open your Boost․space system in a new window, or click on the icon "open in new window" under Next button.

Go to  Google Cloud Platform [https://console.cloud.google.com](https://console.cloud.google.com)


A window will open where you can log in to your Gmail account. 

If this is your first time here, please select your country and check that you agree to the terms of service. Then click on "AGREE AND CONTINUE".

In the left panel, click on "Cloud overview" and select "Dashboard".

Please note that if you already have existing projects you might not see the "CREATE PROJECT" button here. You will first have to click on this drop down menu.

And then click on the "NEW PROJECT" button here.

Fill in the name of the project you would like here. For example "Integrator Google Integration". If you don't have G Suite, you won't see a choice of organization options. That's okay, go on without it and click on "CREATE".

Then next step is to enable the Google Docs API under this project. This is what give permission to Integrator to control your account. Click on "Go to APIs overview".

Then click on "ENABLE APIS AND SERVICES".

Here you can search for the API you want to enable. This will vary on you use case, in our example that will be the "Google Docs API".

The "Google Docs API" is now added to this project.

Again, click on "ENABLE APIS AND SERVICES".

Now you have to open the side bar navigation menu.

And in the "APIs & Services" you need to select the "OAuth consent screen."

On this page click on "External" and then click on "CREATE".

Here you can define the permissions that Integrator will have when using this API with your account. Fill the App name and choose your support email.

Then scroll down and click on "ADD DOMAIN" and type "boost.space" and "celonis.com".

For develop contact information simply enter your email since this is your personal project. After that click on "SAVE AND CONTINUE".

Now you have to add some scopes to specify the permissions Integrator will have. Click on "ADD OR REMOVE SCOPES" in order to set the permissions.

In this step you can select the different actions you would like Integrator to perform using your account. In this step use the filter to search for:

- userinfo.email

Select scopes. For Google Docs it will be:

- drive
- documents.readonly
- documents

Click on "UPDATE" and then click on "SAVE AND CONTINUE".

Type your email and click on "ADD" and then click on "SAVE AND CONTINUE". The user that you will add here **must be the same** as the one who is making the connection.

Then scroll down the page and click on "BACK TO DASHBOARD".

Click on the "Credentials" option on the sidebar. And then click on "CREATE CREDENTIALS" followed by selecting the "OAuth client ID" option.

Now fill this form. \
The application type will be “**Web application**”. \
For the name let’s enter “**Boost.space**”.

**Scroll down to the field with title Authorized redirect URLs and click on "ADD URL"**.

Redirect URLs for Google Docs: https://integrator.boost.space/oauth/cb/google. Then click on “CREATE”.

Your Client ID and a Client Secret have been successfully created. You will need those in the next steps to create your connection. Copy them.

Open Integrator and then click on "Create a new scenario".

Click on **+** and type Google Docs. Then select Module.

Click on "Add", then click on "Show advanced settings" and insert your Client ID and a Client Secret from step 37.

In this verification step click on "Continue".

Check the "Select all" box to allow access to your Google account. And click on "Continue".

Congratulations, you are succesfully connected to Google Docs! Steps below shows you how to configure and run an example Module.

Select by which criteria you want your documents to be watched, choose your drive, folder ID and maximum number of results during a single scenario operation. Then click on "OK".

Choose where to start. Then click on "OK".

Start the scenario with button "Run once".

The scenario was successful, the module name has turned green and you can see the loaded information.
