In this tutorial, we'll show you how to create your credentials that you can use for establishing a connection with Google Workspace applications. Follow this guide if you want to setup your **Gmail** or **Google Drive**. For Other Google Workspace applications you can follow the general guide to create your connection. In this tutorial we will use Gmail as an example.

💡 For the best experience, open your Boost․space system in a new window, or click on the icon "open in new window" under Next button.

Go to  Google Cloud Platform [https://console.cloud.google.com](https://console.cloud.google.com)


A window will open where you can log in to your Gmail account. 

If this is your first time here, please select your country and check that you agree to the terms of service. Then click "AGREE AND CONTINUE".

In the left panel, click on "Cloud overview" and select "Dashboard".

Please note that if you already have existing projects you might not see the "Create project" button here. You will first have to click on this drop down menu.

And then click on the "New project" button here. 

Fill in the name of the project you would like here. For example "Integrator Google Integration". If you don't have G Suite, you won't see a choice of organization options. That's okay, go on without it and click "Create".

Then next step is to enable the Gmail API under this project. This is what give permission to Integrator to control your Gmail account. Click on "Go to APIs overview".

Here you can search for the API you want to enable. This will vary on you use case, in our example that will be the Gmail API. 

The Gmail API is now added to this project.

The Gmail API lets you view and manage Gmail mailbox data like threads, messages, and labels.

By Google Enterprise API 

If you wish to use more Google services, please enable them too. 

Now you have to open the side bar navigation menu.

And in the "APIs & Services" you need to select the "OAuth consent screen."

Fill the App name and choose your support email. Click "NEXT".

Fill in the contact information and click "NEXT".

Check the box and click "CONTINUE" and "CREATE".

Fill in the informations about your App domain:\
App home page: https://boost.space\
App privacy policy link: https://boost.space/privacy-policy/\
App terms of service link: https://boost.space/terms-and-conditions/

Then scroll down and click on "ADD DOMAIN" and type "boost.space" and "celonis.com".

For develop contact information simply enter your email since this is your personal project. After that click on "SAVE AND CONTINUE".

Now you have to add some scopes to specify the permissions. Click add scope in order to set the permissions.

Here you can select the different actions you would like Integrator to perform using your Gmail account. Please see our documentation at <https://docs.boost.space/article/68-how-to-create-your-google-app> for a list of scopes for different Google services. In this example, use the filter to search for Gmail API scopes only.

Select scopes. For Gmail it will be:

- .com
- modify
- compose
- readonly
- metadata
- insert

And on the next page select:
- send
- labels
With this list of options selected you will be able to use all the Gmail account functions inside your Integrator scenarios and create some really powerful automations. 

Click "UPDATE" and then click "SAVE AND CONTINUE".

Click on the "Clients" option on the sidebar. And then click "CREATE OAuth CLIENT ID".

Now fill this form. \
The application type will be “**Web application**”. \
For the name let’s enter “**Boost.space**”.

**Scroll down to the field with title Authorized redirect URLs and click ADD URL**. Depending on the Google service you select, you need to paste in the correct redirect URL.

The list of Redirect URLs is here: https://integrator.boost.space/oauth/cb/google-restricted, https://integrator.boost.space/oauth/cb/google. Then click on “CREATE”.

Your client ID and a client secret key have been successfully created. 

Open Integrator and then click on "Create a new scenario"

Click on + and type Gmail. Select "Watch emails"

Click on "Add", then click on "Show advanced settings" and insert your client ID and a client secret. 

Choose an account and access your account. 

Select the folder you want to watch emails from, filter type, criteria - if you want to watch all emails or unread/read emails. Choose if you want to mark these email as read or not and maximum number or emails during a single script operation. Then click "OK".

And start the scenario with button "Run once".

The script was successful, the module name has turned green and you can see the loaded information.
