How to edit a core profile

Getting started

Click on ***profiles*** to enter your profile library. Use the scroll bar at the bottom of the page to navigate to ***actions*** and click on the three dots under ***actions***. A box with different options will pop up, select the ***edit profile*** option.

General information

In ***details***, you can update the name and description of your profile. This description will be displayed in Wetu outputs, including itineraries. Next, you can add an ***alias*** for your profile which is only available to you and is used to distinguish profiles with the same name and location. Lastly. you can add specific ***tags*** that will give you more opportunities to match with a search. Once you are finished, click ***save***.
The ***fast facts*** you select will display in digital itineraries that are built by operators in Wetu that features your listing.
***Fast Facts*** gives you the option to add a quality assurance body, star rating, alternative rating, number of rooms, minimum child age and check-in and check out times. You'll be able to indicate what ***languages*** your staff speaks, highlight the special capabilities of your product in the ***friendly*** section and showcase the special interests of your location. You will also be able to add any tour operator/tour agent guidance details that needs to be specified.
In the ***facilities*** section section you will need to tick the ***general***, ***connectivity, sleeping arrangement***, ***available services, activities on site*** and **activities nearby** option that applies to your product offering.
In the contact details section you have the option to add your product offerings, ***front desk number*** (you can add your reservation number), ***email***, ***booking form link*** (if you not associated with any booking system) and ***website link***. Clicking on ***select contact*** allows you to select specific contact details to help your associates in the trade contact the right people. Once selected, a box will pop up that will allow you to add the contact information selected.
Link your social media pages to boost visibility, strengthen brand recognition, engage with customers, and stay competitive. Clicking on select ***social media*** accounts will prompt a box that allows you to select the social media pages you want added to your profile. Once you selected which social media pages you want to link, a box will appear that allows you to paste the social media links you selected.

Locations

Note: Vehicles, boats and trains profile types will not have the location option available
Click on ***location*** to update the address or location added when initially creating the profile. You can update the street address and add a ***nearby airport***. \ To update your profile's ***driving point***, move the blue car icon to your desired location and click ***update***. To ensure all the updated information is reflected in the outputs, click ***save***. Driving points can be used if the routing is directed to the main gate instead of to the property itself.
***Associations*** link destination content to your profile. Here you will find the destinations you added during the initial profile creation. You can add additional destinations by clicking on the ***associate destinations*** option. Insert the name of the destination you would like to add into the ***search destination*** search bar, select the correct one from the dropdown menu and click ***save***. You can delete a destination by clicking on the ***bin*** icon and view a destination by clicking on the ***eye*** icon.

Media

Note: the minimum number of images for a core profile is 6. You cannot delete any of the original images, however, you can replace them.
In ***images,*** you will find the pictures you added during the initial profile creation. To rearrange the images, right-click on the 6 dots, hold and move the specific image in the order you want it. Click on the ***arrows*** icon to replace them, or click on the ***pencil*** icon to edit them individually. To edit them all at once, click on ***edit all***. You will have to add a title and photography credit for each image. If they have the same photo credit, you can enable ***all images provided by the same source*** and the photography credit added above will be applied to all the images. Click ***done*** to save the changes.

Sleeping arrangements

Note: Things to do and attractions & landmarks will not have sleeping arrangements but ***activity options***. Food & beverage will have ***spaces***. Vehicles will have ***sleeping arrangements*** and ***services***. Venues will have ***sleeping arrangements*** and ***venues***.
The sleeping arrangement you added when creating your profile will display here. If you did not add sleeping arrangements, you can do 'so by clicking on ***add sleeping arrangement.*** You will need to add a ***name*** and ***description,*** you also have the option to add ***details***, ***images*** and ***facilities*** for the sleeping arrangement.

Other

In ***other*** you can upload COVID-19 Notices and your associations. Yo upload a document click ***upload document*** to browse the files on your computer. When the document is successfully uploaded, you can change the name and visibility option for the document. To do so, click on the ***pencil*** icon and add the preferred name in the ***file name*** and click on ***visibility*** and select your preferred visibility option, then click ***save***.
***Integrations*** is where the booking affiliate you selected when creating your profile will display. You can select one if you did not or remove the one selected if you no longer make use of the booking system. Ensure that the ***affiliate*** and ***code*** are added and click ***save***. If you are integrated with any GDS platforms, click on the ***select GDS codes*** and select the platforms you use. Once the selected options are displayed, you can add your ***GDS codes*** and click ***save.***
