Work in the app is divided into several steps, which should closely mirror the various phases of research work.

Within the project, you can switch freely between these phases as needed.

For each task you want to address, create a Project.

If you want to use cloud projects, you need to be signed-in.

Type its name and decide if it is cloud or local project

Choose here the source of your references - either retrieve online, upload from a file or copy them to the Clipboard

Choose e.g. Pubmed database (connected via API).\
Fill in your query and click "Search".

Tip! If you are not satisfied with the result list, go back and amend the query

Now you have your 655 results in Preview. 

Preview serves as the initial preview with limited functionality, where you can refine results through more detailed searching and filtering.

Add selected references to your Collection one by one...

Add all selected references to Collection and click "close".

Now all the references are in Collection where you can explore more features and tools to process the references (sort to subsets, add rating, tags or comment them).

One of the feature is adding references to subsets according e.g. the topic of the article.\
Name the subset and add the reference to the subset (one by one on reference card or by bulk operation).

Summary stage is for analyzing overlaps between various datasets (databins, subsets or individual resources).

Project exports or text report are done in Export stage.
