Navigate [/pages/settings.html](http://localhost:8000/pages/settings.html)

Input your keys for your chosen provider or both: OpenAI or Openrouter, and: Click "Save API Keys"

Once saved your API keys: Click on: "Close".

Choose your favorite LLM model for this example we will use the on the free LLMs in openrouter tab.

Let's choose LLama 3.1 70B is free, fast and very good for this use case. Off course you can choose Claude 3.5 sonnet  but is not free...

Click on "Test Connection" to confirm your are using your chosen LLM model.

Once you have your confirmation message: Click on "Close". \
And you are ready to start writing your story.

If you want to generate images you need to input also Openai API key: \
And: Click on "Test Connection" for testing the connection.

If everithing work crrectly yo uwill recieve a confirmation message:\
The finally : Click "Close".\
 Your settings are now working correctly!

To start writing your story now: Click "Home" at the footer of the page.

Now is all very simple just: Choose your language

Else you can "Enter your own genre"  in the provided field.

All done now next step is: \
Click "Next: Story Setting and Timeline"

You can now Choose location or add your custom one in the provided inpout box.

Do the same for the timeline and Choose your favorite timeline or again:  add your custom one in the provided inpout box.

If you addd a custom timeline or or location Click the "Enter your own timeline/location" field.

You are ready for the next step: Click on: "Next"

Enter manually the details in each "Character" field. \
You can Type "the name manually or...."

Use AI to generate all the field for you based on your previous chosen story elements, try it:  Click "Generate with AI"

Edit manually when you happy with the result just: Click on "Save Character"

Character gets saved on sidebar you can edit or remove or customize them at ant time.

Once you are happy with your character you can move to: "Next: Story Outline"

Again you can choose to write manually or let AI take care of everithing for you:\
Click "Generate with AI"

Choose how many chapters you want for your story in the drop down menu.

Select number of chapters
1 Chapter
2 Chapters
3 Chapters
4 Chapters
5 Chapters
6 Chapters
7 Chapters
8 Chapters
9 Chapters

Finally click on: "Generate Final Outline" and the AI will automatically generate the outlines for each chapter of your story.

You can check the chapters and edit and customize them at any time.

Once you happy with the generated outlines: just Click on "Save Final Outline"

The outlines also get saved in sidebar with the rest of your story elements

You are ready now to start writing the chapter of your story in our writing working space. Just click on: "Next: Writing Workspace".\
