**Click** "New Status", and select the appropriate Status.

Awaiting User Info
On Hold

**Click** "Responsible" and update to the technician name.

If you are setting yourself as the "Responsible" person, you can **uncheck** the box "Notify the new resource of the service request assignment".

Type in a "Comment" and make any other ticket updates.

By default, comments are public (viewable in the Client Portal) and sent as an email notification to the *Requestor*.

How to update a ticket
