Go to the extension that you would like to edit User Information.

Click the "Extension Number:" field. This field is automatically populated by default but can be changed to any free Extension number.

(E.g., Setting '1000' here will create a new system extension with the same network number).

Click the "Name:" field. This is the Full name of the person using the Extension. This name is sent in a Caller ID information.

(E.g., setting the name in this field will display the name on the other UAD/Phone display when the call is made.)

Click the "E-mail:" field. You can edit the email address associated with the extension and used for various system notifications.

(E.g., Setting new email address here will transfer all Voicemail notifications, Extension PIN, and other details to this email. Also, the E-mail used together with ‘User Password’ is what the user needs for Soft phone or Communicator App login.

Click this field. Department to which the extension will belong. This is used so the mobile and desktop apps can group extensions depending on which department they belong to.

For example, Select "Billing" and when sorted in Communicator app, this extension will be shown in the Billing department group.

PIN (Personal Identification Number): This field is used for resetting your voicemail PIN and for account authorization.

For example, if the PIN for this extension is set to '6147', the VOIP system will prompt you to enter it when checking your voicemail inbox or accessing Enhanced Services.
