Navigate to your Dashboard by clicking on Dashboard in the Navigation Menu located along the top of the screen if you are not already on the Dashboard.

To send an assessment such as an EPA assessment to an assessor click "Start Assessment/Evaluation" button.

Select the correct On-Demand Workflow.  Only the on-demand workflows that have been configured in your instance will show here.

Next select the assessor you want to send the assessment form to by clicking on the select assessor dropdown list.

Search for the assessor by clicking into the "Begin typing to search..." field and start typing the name of the assessor. If the assessor you are looking for doesn't exist as a user in Elentra then you may be allowed to enter the name of the assessor as an external assessor (an Elentra user that doesn't have user credentials) if that has been configured in your Elentra instance. The feature of adding external assessors is not allowed by every institution.

Select the assessor from the list once you find them.

Enter the date of the encounter by clicking into the "Select Date of Encounter" field and selecting the correct date on the pop-up calendar.  The date you select can be in the past and should be the date you actually completed the task.

Next select the assessment delivery method. You have the following methods to choose from but may be required to use a certain method by your institution or your Elentra instance may be configured to only show certain methods.

1. **Email blank form**\
   The assessor will receive an email notification to complete an assessment based on the selected tool.
2. **Complete and confirm via email**

   You can complete the assessment form yourself and then send it to the assessor via email for review/editing and final submission.
3. **Complete and confirm via PIN**

   You can complete the assessment form yourself and then have the assessor enter their Elentra PIN on the spot. 
4. **Self Assessment, then email blank form**

   You can complete a self assessment and then upon completion the assessor will receive a blank assessment task using the same assessment form.

Next select the correct Course/Program to find the proper assessment form by clicking on the Select program drop down.

If you had chosen the EPA on-demand workflow in the first step then you will now need to select the correct EPA to find the correct assessment form related to that EPA. Click on the "Click here to select an EPA" field under Select an EPA to select an EPA.

If you chose another workflow in the first step you will be able to see the form directly and will not need to select an EPA.

Find the correct assessment form you wish to use and click the "Send Assessment ▸" button.

Depending on which delivery method you chose you will either be taken to the assessment form to complete yourself or see a pop-up to enter an optional assessment cue to help the assessor recall the encounter and then can send the assessment form.

If you select an option where you have to fill out the form yourself, then you will be brought directly to the form to complete it. You can choose to save the form completion for later. If you save it for later then you can find the form by clicking on the Assessment & Evaluation task badge and then opening the form under your Assessment Tasks tab.
