#### Apple macOS 10.15.x (Catalina) is last supported on Avast Secure Browser version 116.

Click on this link<https://www.avast.com/en-au/secure-browser> and click on **Free download**

In late 2020, Apple began using Apple silicon instead of Intel processors on certain Mac computer models. To check if your device uses Apple silicon, refer to the following Apple Support article <https://support.apple.com/HT211814> Depending on the age of your Mac, click on either **Intel chip** or **Apple silicon**

Your browser will now download Avast Secure Browser install file. Once complete, click on **Downloads**

Click on **AvastSecureBrowserSetup.pkg**

Click **Continue**

Click **Install** to proceed with the default installation Otherwise, click **Change Install Location...** if you want to make changes to the default setup.

When prompted, type in your Apple password and click **Install Software**

Click **Close**

Click **Move to Bin** to delete the installation file that was downloaded

Click **Avast Secure Browser** icon on the dock to open the installed browser

When Avast Secure Browser opens for the first time, you could be prompted to take a tour or check the Security & Privacy Center which I recommend doing.
