Invite Members to your Community Group as a Community Admin

Many communities in the Sigma Chi Member Hub are populated via the database, meaning that Community Admins should not be adding members via the Hub. If you believe your community membership is inaccurate, please contact your onboarding advisor.

This walkthrough is only applicable for communities whose Join permissions are Invitation Only or Members Only. Click "Settings" to open the Settings menu

Click "Add or Invite Others"

Customize the "Invitation Message"

Click "Invite Others"

You can search for members by first name, last name, chapter (system title Company), and/or email

Click "Search"

Click the checkbox next to the member you want to invite

Click "Add Selected To Invite List." After this step, you can repeat the search to add more members

Click this checkbox next to all members you want to add

You can either send the Invite or Add Immediately - we recommend the latter only for existing active members of your roster.

The other method for adding members to your community can be found by opening your Admin settings menu

Click "Members"

Click "Add Member"

It is best to search for members by their email - the name search functionality is buggy.

Click the name of the member when it pops up.

Click "Add"
