In this tutorial, we will be adding the Luminex 5140_DreamyCarrara to the Worktop Material library.

You will need to first source the colour swatch of the colour you want to add. This needs to be in jpg format and KD Max will use the name of the file as the material name.

Navigate to the [[Service ]]tab while in the 3D section of KD Max

Click the [["Material Library"]] to open the Library

Tip! To add new [[Series]] simply click [[New ]]to the right of the drop down menu

[[Right click]] on the white area around the colour samples.

Navigate to were you saved the colour swatch and select the one you wish to import.

This will add the Material to the library and can now be used in your drawings
