Getting Started: Setting Up Your Account and Logging in

Navigate to [https://irlm.isgmh.northwestern.edu/users/sign_in](https://irlm.isgmh.northwestern.edu/users/sign_in)

To sign up for a new account, click "Sign up"

To sign up, enter your name and email. There is also a set of optional survey information below.

To finish signing up, scroll to the bottom of the page and click "Sign Up". A confirmation email will be sent.

Once you've signed up, to log in, enter your email and password.

Enter your login information and click Log In.

Blue (i) Icons can be clicked to reveal additional information and instruction.

if you select this option, you'll be able to import your strategies along with pre-specified information related to each strategy, such as their operationalizations, your framework(s), and the associated outcomes.

Note: it is strongly recommended that connections are completed before importing to LISTS. Otherwise, you will need to re-specify each strategy

Light blue text are clickable items that will provide additional information.

You can create a team to collaborate on LISTS Projects and invite them via email.

On the Menu bar in the top right of your screen, click "My Teams".

To create a new team, click "Create New Team". From this page, you can also manage the members of your team or assign an IRLM if you have created one already.

Create a new team by entering the team name.

Enter your teammate's email address to invite them to collaborate on your project.

Click the "Project Name" field and enter a name for your project.

Enter Key Dates for your project, such as the project start date, grant start date, and the Implementation "Go Live" date. These dates will be important later when viewing your dashboard.

Add other Key Date that is important for your project.

If you coded your strategies using the Expert Recommendations for Implementation Change (ERIC) Framework, select it here.

Clicking on the blue ERIC text opens up a text box providing additional details.

If you did not code to ERIC or do not want to use the taxonomy, click "None".

If you coded which determinants (i.e., barriers and/or facilitators) your strategy is addressing, select which framework you used.

If you did not include determinants in your study or do not want to use a framework, click "None".

Add the Actors, or those who deliver the strategies. You can add as many as you like.

Enter the name and/or role of your Actors

You can also remove any actors you create by clicking the "REMOVE" button

If your project has multiple sites, clusters, or units, you can include them here.

Is this a multi-unit study or a study with separate units? (optional)

Finish setting up your project by clicking the SAVE button.

From the Log In Page, Select Edit an Existing Project.

Here, you can see all of your projects, select which project you'd like to work on, or delete a project.

From the Menu page, click Add a New Strategy

When you Enter Strategies, they will appear on a dashboard timeline vertically in the order you enter them. It is recommended that you carefully consider this order as it cannot be rearranged. We suggest starting with the strategy that has the earliest start date and continuing to enter them chronologically by start date.

If you coded using ERIC, select the Domain it belongs to.

Under one of the domains, select the ERIC strategy.

If you used a strategy that doesn't fit into one of the 73 ERIC strategies, describe or categorize the strategy in the "Other Specify" field

Add additional details to help you distinguish this strategy from others that may be similar.

Enter the start date of this strategy or use the calendar icon.

If known or planned, enter the stop date of this strategy (optional).

Select which of your actors delivered this strategy (that you indicated when you set up your project) or create a new one by entering it in the 'Other' box below.

Enter the action, or what the actor does to deliver the strategy.

Enter who or what system, process, or level this strategy targets.

If appropriate, enter the dose (frequency, duration) with which the strategy was used.

If you'd like to capture some other dimension of Dose, enter it in the 'Other' field. If you'd like to capture measurement, the 'Other' field can also be used for this purpose.

Select the Unit(s) where this strategy was used (if applicable).

Select ONE primary implementation, service, or recipient outcome that the strategy is targeting.

Select any secondary outcome(s) your strategy is targeting.

If you selected a determinant framework, drop downs appear here. Select the determinant(s) your strategy is being used to address.

Select whether this strategy was prospective.

Click Save to save this strategy and return to the Menu page.

From the Menu Page, select the Manage Strategies button

In the Manage Strategies page, you can view all of your strategies you have entered as well as view those that have been marked active within the past 30 days. 

Here you can track modifications to strategies, discontinue strategies, and mark them as active.

Green check marks next to strategies are those that have been reviewed or marked active within the past 30 days. A yellow exclamation point indicates that a strategy has NOT been reviewed within the past 30 days

Clicking the 'View All Strategies' button will show you all of the strategies you have entered.

Clicking 'View Active Strategies' will only show you strategies that are currently in use for your project

A green check mark next to a strategy indicates that it has been reviewed within the past 30 days

A Yellow exclamation point indicates that the strategy has not been reviewed within the past 30 days.

Marking a strategy as active, or tracking a modification will change this icon to a green check mark...

... The Assess Community Determinants strategy has been marked as active and now has a green check mark next to it.

Strategies

On this page, you can manage individual strategies.

Click on the text for each strategy name to edit the original strategy information
Click Mark This Strategy Active to track that this strategy is still active as of today
Click Discontinue this Strategy to track a discontinuation of the strategy if it is no longer active
Click Modify This Strategy if you’d like to track a modification to your strategy, if some element has changed.

Clicking the Blue text of the strategy name will allow you to edit the original information of a strategy

... After you click on the name of one of your strategies, you will be brought to the 'Edit a Strategy' page. On this page, you can edit any details of a strategy that you've entered.

Click 'Save' to return to the Manage Strategies Page

Click 'Mark This Strategy as Active' to indicate that this strategy is still in use and is unchanged.

Click Modify This Strategy to track a strategy modification or adaptation

Click Discontinue This Strategy to indicate that the strategy is no longer active or being used.

Click 'Finished' to return to the Menu Page

To access the project dashboard, click View Project Dashboard from the Menu Page

Note: Only strategies that have been fully specified will appear on the dashboard. If you don't see one of your strategies here, make sure you finished filling out all the required elements, and that the start/stop dates are accurate.

The Project Dashboard displays your strategies on a timeline. Click the (i) icon for a detailed walkthrough of the dashboard's functions and features

Light-boxed instructions will also pop up the first time you visit your Dashboard.

Clicking the Menu button will return you to the Menu Page

You can also export your dashboard as a PNG or JPEG Image AND you can export your data as a .CSV file

Some strategies are complex and involve blended, bundled, or are in some way multicomponent strategies. The LISTS tool allows you to bundle discrete strategies that are multi-component or are packaged together.

Click the "Name Bundled Strategy" field and give a name to your bundle.

Add additional details to distinguish this bundle or multicomponent strategy.

Select which discrete strategies are a part of this bundle.

Select which units where this bundle or multicomponent strategy was used.

When you bundle a strategy, a grey box will be drawn around all of the discrete strategies within that bundle and the name of the bundle is displayed at the top.

Clicking on the Bundle from the dashboard will allow you to edit your bundle and add or remove the discrete strategies that are contained within it.

Strategy modification/adaptation can be done through multiple ways with the LISTS tool. You can access all of your strategies in one place by navigating to the Manage Strategies button from the Menu Page, or you can click on a strategy to  from the Project Dashboard and modify it that way.
