This wiki will guide you through three stages:

1. Create a GaGaNode account
2. Install GaGaNode to your gateway using the Multimining feature
3. Link your MetaMask wallet to your GaGaNode dashboard

Prerequisites:

- The GaGaNode dashboard requires the MetaMask wallet extension to be added to your browser. We've made a [MetaMask wiki](https://crankk.wiki/docs/metamask/) for you to make it easy;

Good to know:

- MSN tokens are distributed on the Ethereum blockchain. Create a GaGaNode account in the GaGaNode dashboard

Navigate to the [GaGaNode dashboard](https://dashboard.gaganode.com/register) and register a new account.

- Provide your e-mail address;

- a strong password **without any special symbols**;

- a captcha to prove you are human;

- a v-code to verify your e-mail address.

Click 'Send' to receive a v-code in your e-mail inbox first.

A green confirmation box pops up saying "vcode has been sent to your email".

Go to your inbox, find the e-mail from 'noreply@gaganode.com' and copy the verification code.

Paste the verification code in the designated field and click "Register" to register your account on the GaGaNode Dashboard.

Unfold the 'Mining' section in the left hand menu of the dashboard.

Now select "Install & Run" from the menu to open a page with install instructions for different operating systems. No worries, the Crankk Multimining solution takes care of that for you.

***Just notice your token***. It is a unique identifier for your account.

Copy the token. You need it to link your GaGaNode to your dashboard.\

A green confirmation dialog will pop up indicating a successful copy.

Install GaGaNode to your gateway using the Multimining feature

Now go to the **Local Dashboard** of your gateway and make sure you have enabled **Multimining** first:

Navigate to the Multimining tab in the left hand menu and click the GaGaNode project icon.

**Paste** your GaGaNode dashboard token in the designated field and click 'Submit' to start the installation process of the GaGaNode container on your Crankk gateway.

- The GaGaNode token can be used for multiple nodes;
- only one node per IP address is allowed.

Patiently wait for the install to complete.

A green confirmation box indicates GaGaNode was successfully installed.

Notice the green checkmark next to the GaGaNode icon. Now **click the GaGaNode** button to open a full overview page of the running GaGaNode container.

The GaGaNode overview page explained:

1. Shortcut to your GaGaNode dashboard;
2. GaGaNode shows Up and running for 22 seconds;
3. Reinstall or Remove GaGaNode with 1 click;
4. Check your GaGaNode's logs

Try it: **click the 'Dashboard' button** to bring you straight to your online GaGaNode dashboard.

Click "Nodes" in the left hand menu and hit the Refresh button to see if your node shows.

Your node shows:

- **Ip address** - is the IP address you will be sharing in the market;
- **Location** - is the country where your node is deployed;
- **Type** - indicates whether you have shared a *residential* or *data center* IP;
- **Version** - indicates the installed GaGaNode version on your gateway;
- **Os** - indicates the operating system your GaGanode runs on. Crankk is a Linux based operating system.
- **Port open - can be safely ignored. No ports need to be opened in your router;**
- **Online** - should show ON. If shown OFF, please check if your GaGaNode is running in the Multimining dashboard.
- **IP segment coefficient** - The value of your IP address - 1.000 is the highest.

**It can take up to 15 minutes for your node to show in the Node Manager list!**\

*If your node does not yet show, continue with the steps below and check again in 15 minutes.*

Link your MetaMask wallet to your GaGaNode dashboard

The GaGaNode dashboard requires the MetaMask wallet extension to be added to your browser before you can continue.

Navigate to the exchange \[ETH-mainnet\] section of the GaGaNode dashboard and click "Connect Wallet" to start the process of linking your dashboard to your wallet.

Your MetaMask wallet should pop up asking for your password. *If your MetaMask wallet doesn't pop up automatically, please open the extension manually.*

Type your password and hit 'Unlock'.

Select the address you want to use for receiving rewards and to interact with the GaGaNode dashboard and click 'Next'.

Click 'Confirm' in the next MetaMask dialog to allow the GaGaNode dashboard to interact with your wallet.

Notice how the *Connect Wallet* button has now shifted into a *Bind Wallet* button.

Click the 'Bind Wallet' button.

Verify the selected address you want to connect to your GaGaNode dashboard and click 'Bind Wallet' to confirm.

A green dialog saying 'bind success' pops up, concluding the binding process.

Navigate to the 'Mining daily' tab to check your node's performance. It will show the total of MSN rewards your node will have gathered.

Your node will start gathering **Meson rewards** for sharing your bandwidth. 

*Note that **Meson rewards** are not yet **MSN tokens**. You should exchange your rewards for tokens and claim them to your MetaMask wallet.*

To exchange Meson rewards for MSN tokens, navigate back to the tab 'Exchange meson reward to MSN token' and check out:

1. The wallet address bound to your GaGaNode dashboard. You'll receive your MSN tokens here after claiming them;
2. the MSN contract address is used to import the MSN token into MetaMask. Do this first or the claimed tokens will not show in MetaMask.[Read how here](https://support.metamask.io/managing-my-tokens/custom-tokens/how-to-display-tokens-in-metamask/#how-to-add-a-custom-token).
3. your current Meson reward balance from mining; these rewards have to be exchanged for MSN tokens.
4. The present ratio for exchanging Meson rewards for MSN tokens. **Hit Exchange, type the amount of MSN rewards you want to convert to tokens and hit Exchange.**
5. The exchanged tokens become claimable in the 'Exchange history' field. Claim your MSN tokens within 14 days of exchanging.

*Note: tokens are claimed on the Ethereum blockchain. You need some ETH in the receiving wallet.*
