How do I complete a learning plan?

Navigate to Rootwurks Dashboard

To complete a learning plan, start by clicking the menu icon in the top-left corner of your dashboard. From the navigation panel, select **Learning plans** under the Career Path section. This takes you to the Learning Plan Schedule, where you’ll see all of your upcoming, almost due, or overdue learning plans. Find the one you need to start or resume and click the **Start Now** or **Resume** link.

From the dashboard, you can also access your assigned learning plans directly under the “Your Learning” section. Use the toggle buttons to filter between all content, individual courses, or learning plans. Then, simply click on any learning plan card to get started. Each card displays your completion percentage, total seat time, and the due date, helping you stay on track and prioritize what’s coming up next.

You can also locate and access a learning plan by viewing your schedule. The “Your Schedule” section allows you to toggle between Today, Week, and Month views. This is helpful when you want to find out what’s coming up or identify items that are overdue. When you locate your learning plan in the list, you’ll see its due date, estimated time to complete, and current progress. To open it from this view, just click **Start** or **Resume**.

As you begin a learning plan, the first course or checklist will automatically launch. The progress bar in the top right shows your estimated time to complete the entire plan. When you finish one item, it will be checked off and the next item will become available. You can work through each course and checklist in order until the plan is complete.

If you want to exit a learning plan before completing it select the ‘Exit Learning Plan’ button at the top right. You can return later and pick up right where you left off. When you resume, you’ll be prompted to either start from the beginning or continue from your last completed slide, so you never lose your progress.

When you've completed all the required modules in your learning plan, a confirmation screen will appear showing that the plan is finished. At the top, you'll see a message confirming the name of the learning plan you completed. On the left side, the Completion Statistics panel lists how many modules were included, how long it took you to complete them, and the dates you started and finished. Below that is a summary of the learning plan contents, including the courses and checklists you completed. On the right side, you’ll see your Completion Certificate. You can click the certificate button to preview it and download it for your records. If you need to access it later, you can find it anytime under the My Certificates section of the platform.
