Select the state you want to make a map in.

Search for the town, area or address you're interested in.

**Tip:**  You can search by address, Township-Range-Section, Latitude/Longitude, Parcel ID, Owner Name or Owner Address in the web version of Land id.

Select the property you're interested in mapping by clicking on it.

Click the "Save Boundary" button to create a map of this parcel.

**Tip:** If you need to include more parcels in your map, click the "Select More Parcels" button to pick additional parcels and then select the "Merge & Make Boundary" button.

Click the "Save" button to save your boundary.

Click the "Save As" button to start saving your map.

Give your map a name by filling out the "Map Name" field.

Congrats! You've created the foundational map that you can build on to create a compelling, interactive map.
