In this tutorial, we'll review how to manage family services.

Starting from the "Family Home", review the current services the family is receiving.

On the right side of the current services table, you can choose to edit the service by clicking on the pencil button, or exit / end the service by clicking on the red exit arrow.

The End Service pop-up window will close. You are still on the Family Home page. Now let's review the Family's Services. 

Click "Service Management"

The complete history will be shown on this page. Let's update the family's current home visiting service period.

When updating a home visiting service, you have 3 choices. 1, Edit the Enroll Date if it's incorrect. 2, exit the family from home visiting. Or 3, place the family on hold.

Let's place the family on hold by clicking the "Add Inactive / On Hold Period" button.

Choose the start date for the hold period.

You can see here that the family's home visiting service is indicated as "Inactive / On hold".

Let's update Silver with birth information. Click on "enter birth info"

Now let's add a child to the Bunnymen family.

In this scenario, the Bunnymen family is fostering an older child and the program will be providing screening only services for this child.

The family is currently enrolled in home visiting. But you are not adding this child to the home visiting service period. So select "No" for "Enroll in home visiting services".

Select the service you will be providing which in this case is "Screening only" services.

Now let's update the family's home visiting service. Some time has passed and they are ready to start receiving home visits again.

Click on the edit pencil for the home visiting service.

Click on the end button in the Inactive / On hold table.

In the "Inactive Periods" table, you can review and manage all inactive periods.

Before moving away from this home visiting service period, notice in the Family Members table that the new child we added is listed but not participating. This the section you would go to in order to add and update the family members that are participating in this service.
