Here we can see a summary of all of the rooms within each of the floors of the building (highlighted). [This tutorial](https://bmis.nz/support/asbestos/floor-management) will show you how to Manage Floors within your building.

To add a room to a floor click "Create Room"

Enter a room name and note (if required). You also have the option to toggle the following:

- Mark room as inaccessible?
- No PACM Observed?
- Out of scope?

If any of these options are chosen, you will also be asked to draw the extent of the room on the floor plan using the [drawing tool](https://bmis.nz/support/asbestos/floor-plan-tool/).

Now your new room is added to the floor. You can click the pencil icon to edit the room.

Tip! A room cannot be deleted if it contains asbestos items, or items from other modules. You will need to remove the items before deleting the room in BMIS.

You will need to confirm you wish to delete a room. Note: Once deleted a room cannot be recovered.
