This tutorial is all about building the unsubscribe paths in the Tall Bob system to sync back to Klaviyo.

So, we'll start in the Tall Bob web app for this instruction to build a new segment that goes back into Klaviyo.

Part 1: Set up the event sync in Tall Bob web app

First, navigate to https://app.tallbob.com/integrations
You can simply click this link, or you can get to integrations from the home pages of the Tall Bob web app.

Check that you have Event Sync turned on.
Yes, it's that straight-forward.

Event Sync will send data to Klaviyo such as Messages Sent and Delivered, along with data related to your campaigns such as Impressions, Form submissions and Unsubscribes.

FYI you don't have to setup this segment if you don't want to, Tall Bob will still take care of Unsubscribes for you, this segment is created for your convenience so you can have greater visibility within the Klaviyo app

Now, we're going to head over to the Klaviyo interface.

Select Segment and name your segment. We suggest something like "Unsubscribed via Tall Bob"

Now, we're going to set the segment conditions.
Click on "Definition"

And choose "Properties about someone" under the 'Definition'.

For this example, you'll select "tb_unsubscribe".

For the dimension value, you'll be choosing a "Type" and selecting "Text".

Click the "equals" drop down to reveal more options.

Now, simply click "Create Segment »".
And you're all done!

From here, you can use this segment as a suppression for future campaigns.
