McCart - Diverting Items from an Orders

This guide provides a step-by-step process for using the McCart Diverting Orders feature, allowing users to efficiently redirect items from a single order to multiple shipping facilities.

Select Order to pick/divert

Tap "Pick"

Tap "Divert" under the item(s) to be redirected to a different Shipping facility

Tap on the Shipping facility the item is to be diverted to

Multiple items can be diverted from a single order. Tap "Divert" on any other items that needs to be diverted. If there are no more items that need to be diverted, proceed to step 9 below.

Tap on the Shipping facility the item is to be diverted to. Items on a single original order can be diverted to multiple different Shipping facilities. In this example, items from a Houston order are being diverted to Orlando and Austin.

Repeat the steps to divert items as needed

For each diverted item, select the appropriate Shipping facility

When you have completed diverting items you will see them listed in the "Diverting" section of the order. Tap on the "Create # new orders now" button. The number of new orders created is based on the number of Shipping facilities that items are being diverted to. There will be one new order created per Shipping facility.

You will see a banner message at the top of the current order after you tap the "Create # new orders now" button The original order will include a banner with links to all spawned orders (backorders and diverted orders). All spawned orders (backorders and diverted orders) include a banner with a link back to their original order.

You can then click "Pick" to complete the picking process for remaining items on the original order, or exit the screen if you are not ready to pick the order

Tap "View" from the Unassigned Orders section on the home screen to view the new, diverted orders Note: the "Location" setting at the top right of McCart will need to either be set to "All" or the facility to which the order was diverted to view the diverted order.

Click "View"
