From Microsoft Teams, open the **Virtual Appointments** app.

Input the clients name, email, and phone number.

Check the box for "Attendees have consented to email communication"

Set the date and time of the appointment.

Add yourself or a staff member who is leading the appointment.

For online appointments, turn on the **"Make this a Teams meeting"** toggle.

Important! The "Have attendees join from a web browser" toggle will not prompt the client to join through the Teams app or through Teams on the web browser. This will prompt a completely different and simplified process for them.

Turn on the **"Have attendees join from a web browser"** toggle.

Input a confirmation message you'd like to send.

Turn on **"Allow for text message notifications"**

Check the box for **"Attendees have consented to send and receive text messages."**

Click the edit pencil or "Add an email reminder" to create a reminder for the client or the meeting organizer.

Choose who should receive the reminder, when they should receive it, and what the message should say.

Click **Send** to create the Virtual Appointment
