To manage Asbestos Items in BMIS, you must first enter the "Building Dashboard".

Tip! If your organisation has building groups and sub-groups setup, you will need to selected the group, and sub-group first, to then access the building in the drop-down. For more details [click here](https://bmis.nz/support/general/getting-started/).

Next, you want to select the building you would like to manage in the drop-down. In this case, we will look at "Bannington House".

This will open a drop down of options, select the first "Manage Items".

Tip! From the building dashboard, this can also be directly accessed by clicking on the 'View all' button on the Asbestos Summary box.

This opens a summary of the Asbestos Items in "Bannington House".

Along the top of the page we have a summary of the "Building Address" and well as "Building Information" summarizing the number of Floors, Rooms and positive asbestos containing materials (ACM) Items within the building.

Below the top panel we have the "Floors / Building Areas" section. 

This section breaks down the building into 'Floors'. For example, the first section shows the "GROUND" floor of Bannington House. You can click on a floor to collapse the section. Tip! Hover over the room name to quickly view any notes associated with that room.

Within each floor, there is a summary of all the 'Asbestos Items' within the Floor. Here we can see two Asbestos Items on the Ground floor. For more information on managing ACM items [click here](https://bmis.nz/support/asbestos/add-edit-delete-asbestos-items/).
