Two-Factor Authentication enforces a second layer of security that can be accessed from anywhere from a user's device or from the backup codes provided during setup.

Before logging in, if you have not chosen a 2FA authenticator app on your phone you will need to choose and download one.

Google Authenticator, Oracle Mobile Authenticator, or Microsoft Authenticator will all work with NetSuite.

When logging in with a 2FA required role for the first time, you will receive an email from NetSuite. The email contains instructions and a verification code for initial login.

Enter the verification code from the email and click submit.

Ensure you have your 2FA authenticator app installed and ready on your mobile phone, then click next.

Using your mobile phone, scan the QR code to add NetSuite to your authenticator app.

If the QR code does not work, you can manually assign NetSuite to your authenticator app with the code provided.

The authenticator app will display a verification code, enter this code into the box in NetSuite.

NetSuite will provide 10 backup codes that may be used once each. Use these codes if you are unable to use your authenticator app to generate a verification code.

This is the only time NetSuite will ever display these codes to you, so it is a good idea to have them available as an emergency.

You will be prompted for a verification code from your authenticator app. Enter it in and then click submit.

Remember you can use one of the backup codes previously provided during set up, but each backup code may only be used once.

In the event you need to reset your 2FA settings, this can be done from the settings portlet on your home dashboard in NetSuite.

You can also generate new backup codes in the event you misplace yours or run out from the settings portlet as well.

Finally, from the settings portlet you can also manage your trusted devices in the event you get a new mobile phone.
