Open the publication record and scroll to the section "Contributors and affiliations". Click "Edit" behind the author's name.

To remove the UM affiliation(s), click on the checkbox to uncheck.

To add the correct externl organisation, click "Affiliate to an external organisation..."

Use the affiliation information as mentioned in the publication.

Search and select the external organisation. If you can't find the correct organisation, click Create external organisation to add a new entry.

Outputs from previous or simultaneous affiliations can also be made visible on the UM researcher's profile page, but must NOT be part of (departmental) reports. When a new publication is registered in Pure, the researcher's name and current department will be added to the list of authors by default. The UM affiliation needs to be removed an the external organisation can be added.
