A new feature of the Workday 2025R1 release is the search functionality for reports that use pay periods.

In this demo, we will be looking at the report View Time Off Results by Period. This report shows you your leave accruals and leave usage by pay period. To get to this report, I will start by going to my worker profile.

Under Time and Absence, Click "View Time Off Results by Period"

Click the "Time Off Plans" field. Here you can enter Annual, Sick, Comp, etc depending on which time off you want to look at.

Previously, we would have to drill down into each year to find the pay periods we wanted.

Now, we can type in the word "March" and hit enter and Workday will bring up any period that has a March date in it.

We can get even more specific and type in March 2025. This narrows our search down to three pay periods. Once you have identified the list of pay periods you want, you can either check the boxes or use ctrl + a then the space bar on your keyboard to select all.

Once you have your pay periods, you can click "OK" to run the report.

This feature is available on any report that uses Periods as a prompt.
