When the page loads, you should now see some additional menu items below the menu ribbon: Draft, Published and Archived. We will cover those shortly. Click "Generate a new proposal".

Setup the paraments for your proposal. Notice above the paraments you now see a menu link for the proposal associated with the associated client. Click "Generate". 

Once a report is generated, you now have the option to save it as a draft. Click the "Save" button to do so.\

**Note** - You must click the Save button to save a proposal as a draft as the system doesn't automatically save generated proposals as drafts.

After clicking the Save button, you will be prompted to give a name to the draft. By default, the format will be Proposal For \[Client Name\] - \[Date\]. Once you are satisfied with the name, click "Save".

You will then be taken back to the proposal page and you should receive a notification saying that the proposal was saved.

To see the draft entry you just created click on the **Proposals for \[Client Name\]** link.

After clicking the link from Step 7, you will be taken to the Draft section of proposals which will display all of your proposal drafts.\

You can open any draft proposal by clicking on the associated "Open" button. You can also download the PDF of the proposal by clicking the "PDF" button.

After clicking the Open button on the draft, you will be given several options.

1\. You can click on "Continue Editing" to be taken back to the proposal page where you can continue adjusting your proposal. **Remember to click the Save button for any changes you would like to keep.**\

2\. You can also create a copy of the draft by clicking the "Save as" button. Additionally, you can rename the proposal by clicking the pencil icon beside the name of the draft.

If you decide to make a copy of the draft, the system will automatically use the name of the previous draft and append (copy) to the name. Click the "Save" button to save the copy.

Another option you have is to publish the proposal. When you click the "Publish" button, you essentially are locking the report and no other changes can be made to that report.

After you click the Publish button on the previous page, a confirmation popup will appear letting you know that the proposal will be locked and that you will only have access to the PDF version of the proposal. Click "Publish" to finalize the process.

When you go back to the overview proposal page, you can click the "Published" menu link to see all proposal that have been published for that client.

Even though you cannot change a published proposal, you can create a copy of one and make edits to the copy (the copy will be a draft). To do so, click the Open button associated with the published proposal that you would like to create a copy of.

You can archive proposals from the various sections by enabling the relevant checkboxes and clicking the Archive button once it becomes illuminated (see next step).

Archived proposals can be restored. Click on the "Archived" link, enable the relevant checkbox and then click the "Restore" button (see next step).

To delete a proposal entry via the list, enable the checkbox of the relevant proposal and click on the trash icon which will be illuminated at that point.

Stratifi

This feature allows to you keep a record of the proposals and IPS you are working on as well as generated. The feature works the same way for both proposals and IPS and in the article, we will take you through the proposal side of things. To access the IPS history, you would first start with clicking the IPS tab.
