Click "Trigger" .. Note that the AI create feature is a little glitchy, so I recommend just doing it manually.

An event that starts your Zap

You will need to set up your Skool to Zapier integration if you haven't already.

Triggers when a new member answers the membership questions in a group.

Verify that the data fields look accurate. The labels should match the data. Email, first name and last name are the ones that matter here. Once verified, click "Continue with selected record"

Type "convertkit" or whatever your email marketing software is.

Each software is going to be slightly different. Any big name software will facilitate this integration though. 

Click "ConvertKit" or your email software if it's available (it should be, if not, you need a new one).

Click "Choose" to select your ConvertKit integration. If you haven't set this up yet, you will be prompted to here. 

Click the correct account. You will likely have just one here.

Click "Add Subscriber to Form." Again, yours might be different. I use forms for my opt-ins but yours might say "tags" or something similar. 

Click on first name if you wish to collect that (you should)

Click the field that says first name. Here it is "Michael"

Click "Yes" if you wish to opt them into a sequence. 

Click "last name" if you'd like to add that.
