Identify an event on *another RCCL website* that you would like to **syndicate to your RCCL website**.

From the Content menu of *your* RCCL website, select "Entity Share"

Find the website you will be syndicating from on the "Remote website" selector

Use the Channel selector to choose "Shared Events"

Find the name of the event you want to syndicate to your website on the list of remote content available for syndication.

*Note: if you do not see the content you want to syndicate listed, it has not been marked for syndication. You will need to reach out to an editor at the target website and ask them to enable syndication on the event you need.*

Tick the box of the event (or events) you want to syndicate to your RCCL website.
Then select "Subscribe"

Tick the box of the event (or events) you want to syndicate to your RCCL website.

On this screen, the text "(View Local)" will appear next to all events that have been successfully syndicated to your site. 

*Note: You may need to click "Subscribe" more than once. If you do not see an option to View Local, the syndication did not complete and you should try again.*

Syndicated content will show this message on the editing screen. Editing event taxonomy will not impact the status event syndication. 

Select an appropriate Primary taxonomy topic and optional secondary topics. \

Note: Event taxonomy topics are non standard; the options in the example below will not look like the options available to you on your website.*

Elect to "Keep Subscription" to ensure any edits to the original source content get applied to your syndicated entry.  

Choosing "Cancel Subscription" will break syndication. The content will remain published on your site, but its connection to its source will be severed and it will no longer receive updates.

Find your newly syndicated event in the general Content menu with all site content. 

You can verify that the event is local to your website by its URL.
