From the **Content** screen, select the "**Media**" tab

Select the media format that's right for your file type. **This example is for a Word document upload, but the steps are the same for any media type**. \

Below is information on media types the Drupal CMS can accommodate.\
\
Audio = mp3, wav, acc\
Document\* = pdf, doc, pptx \
Image *= jpg, png, gif, jpeg*\
Local Video \*\* = mp4\
Lottie = json\
Remote Video = Vimeo or YouTube 

\*Other allowed Document types are [[txt rtf doc docx ppt pptx xls xlsx pdf odf odg odp ods odt fodt fods fodp fodg]]\
\*\* Locally hosting a video is not recommended. Use Remote video instead.

Locate the file you need to upload from your local computer. 

After loading the file, click "Save."  Ensure the Published box is checked.
